Application Review (24-48 hours)
Your Regional Developer reviews your application, background check results, and references. They'll assess the best franchise plan and territory for your goals.
Discovery Call
A 30-45 minute conversation with your Regional Developer. They'll answer your questions, explain the local market opportunity, and walk you through the Franchise Disclosure Document (FDD).
FDD Review Period (14 days)
Federal law requires a 14-day review period after receiving the FDD before you can sign. Use this time to consult an attorney, talk to existing franchise owners, and make an informed decision.
Franchise Agreement & Training
Sign your agreement, complete the 4-phase certification program, receive your equipment and technology access, and start cleaning your first customer accounts — all provided by your Regional Developer.

No. The application is completely free. The only costs come later — franchise packages start at $950 and investment plans range from $5,000 to $150,000 depending on the plan you choose.
What does the background check involve?
We use Checkr, a leading background screening platform. The check is standard for all franchise applicants and includes identity verification and criminal history. You authorize it directly in the application — no paperwork or PDF uploads.
Can I apply if I already have a cleaning business?
Absolutely. The application has a dedicated path for existing operators. You'll provide details about your current operations, and we'll show how JAN-PRO's systems, customers, and technology can complement what you've built.
Do I need cleaning experience?
No prior cleaning experience is required. JAN-PRO provides a comprehensive 4-phase, 5-week training certification program that covers every aspect of the business — from cleaning techniques to client management.
